ABOUT THE POSITION
As our SharePoint Service Owner, your mission will be to accelerate the adoption and use of SharePoint as a supporting tool for business processes and projects.
You will manage and steer SharePoint projects for central IT, supporting business development within our Business units, Functional units and at the Consolis Group level. You will have overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, control and closure of SharePoint-related projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management: Define project plans, allocate resources, and monitor budget adherence. Analyze risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure project quality throughout the lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Solution Managers, EA architects, CISO, and other stakeholders to ensure compatibility with existing IT solutions. Build connections with stakeholders, ensuring their involvement and addressing their concerns.
- Business Integration: Collaborate with business units to secure their involvement in business-related projects. Ensure clear communication between the project team and stakeholders, providing regular progress reports.
- Documentation and Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain project documentation, ensuring the quality of delivery and identifying potential consequences if quality standards are not met.
- Resource Planning: Plan resources and ensure availability from resource owners to meet project demands.
- Communication and Reporting: Manage project communication to ensure clear communication between the project team and stakeholders. Monitor and report progress within the team and steering group.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, we believe you have background in computer science or engineering. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in SharePoint implementation and a thorough understanding of document control processes, along with proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Microsoft PowerBi.
As a skilled project manager and team player, you are comfortable managing multiple tasks and have a problem-solving and process improvement mindset. You have experience working as a business partner across different geographies and organizations, and you are adept at operating in a remote environment. Fluency in English is essential for this role.
